Resting

Well, apartment inspection yesterday was a joke. They came in, replaced the smoke alarm batteries and left. Not even a two minute job. BUT, the house is clean  anyway. The kitchen is certainly cleaner than it's ever been since we moved in. I don't scrub the side of the refrigerator for just anyone! *laugh* Even though I know there will be more dishes by Monday and more vacuuming by Tuesday and more tidying by the days beyond that, it is nonetheless nice to have one day of downtime to relax and do nothing.
